School, care home and public-sector kitchen ventilation
Schools, care homes and public-sector kitchens cook at volume to a fixed timetable, often every day of the year. Ventilation has to be robust, easy to maintain and installed without disrupting the people who rely on the kitchen.
Built for volume and longevity
School and care home kitchens rely on ranges, combination ovens, bratt pans and steamers. We size canopies and extract for the full cooking line, with extra overhang in front of combination ovens, and specify durable stainless steel that stands up to daily cleaning.
- Wall and island canopies with integrated supply air
- Supply air options to suit the budget
- Gas interlocks and CO₂ monitoring
- Clear O&M documentation for site and facilities teams
Working around term time and residents
In schools we plan surveys, fabrication and installation around holidays and half-terms, so the kitchen is back in service when pupils return. In care homes, where meals cannot stop, we phase the work and agree temporary arrangements with the home before we start.
